Fratorolers 5th album takes you back to pure classic Berlin School with 4 long tracks full of sequences and lush melodies as well as mystical developments of sounds of surprisingly changes. Its like a good meal: You know, what to expect, but then there is a special taste, that satisfies you much more - maybe even causing goosebumps.
You might sit back and sigh: "What!"
Review by Sylvain Lupari: “For its subtle mixture of dark cinematographic EM and a Berlin School sometimes dipped into neo-Krautrock, What! will be a dominating album in 2016”
Being a worshipper of Tangerine Dream’s “Virgin years”, and having consumed the 38’ of “Ricochet” to exhaustion, this was like finding water in the desert. It’s a strange listening experience, similar in a way to Syn; still I’m so grateful to CG, and this goes for all their discography, which I’m sure I’ll consume to exhaustion. Mortimer Potts
